This is want we started out with. It is an old chicken house.  It originally was a hog pen at Sheila's mother's house.

We tore it down and moved it to our house for our chickens.  It looked pretty good until Buddy (our horse) decided it was just right to scratch his back on!  He almost tore the roof off.

This is the inside after we cleaned out most of the left over chicken stuff.  It will be just right for a dog kennel when we get done.

We put insulation board all around the outside to make it warmer.  Winters in Western North Carolina can get quite cold.

Andrew is nailing the insulation board in place.  Maybe he will not hit his finger.

Most of the insulation board is nailed on. We will leave some open space on top for ventilation.

Another picture. There is still a lot to do!
