Driver - The proud Daddy!
Ashurii gave birth to five puppies January
1st, 2007. She had three boys and two girls and all
are healthy.
All five have been adopted.
We thought she was done after the first three, which were
all boys, but an hour or so after the third boy the two
girls were born.
Ashley named the puppies Kermit, Bear, Homer, Cindy and
Mindy.
These puppies lived inside with our
family for the first two months and are highly socialized. Though
not completely house broken they are well on their way.
Since there are three children in our house the puppies get
all the attention they need and are used to being played
with, held and cuddled. Anthony likes to crawl into
their cage and curl up with the puppies all around him.
If I was picking out a puppy for myself Homer would have
been my choice. He is sort of shy around people he
does not know but with us he is a live wire!

For the first two months after they were born the puppies stayed in our kitchen laundry room at night so in
the mornings when I come in to make coffee Homer is always
the first
one up. I normally wake up long before
anyone else in our house so Homer and I have spent quite a
bit of time getting to know each other. He goes with me in
the den has a great time playing and investigating
everything. Once he has played himself out he likes to
lay on me on his back so I can rub his belly until he goes
to sleep. More photos are available
in the
Puppy Photo Album. |
